Bryophytes
Introduction
to Bryophytes Workshop This special two-day workshop will offer an introduction to
mosses, liverworts, and hornworts. More information can be found here.
SO
BE FREE 17 The 2012 SO BE FREE foray will be held in the Cobb Mt. area
near Clear Lake (possibly North America's oldest lake) in Lake County,
California. The area offers great sites for montane coniferous forest,
oak woodland, and chaparral with rocky outcrops of varied geology and
wetland habitats as well. Bryophyte diversity will span a range from
California's spring ephemerals to epiphytes to the aquatic species of
lakes and streams. The early-spring wildflowers should be great too.
More information can be downloaded here.
Evolution
and Diversification of Bryophytes: Insights from Genetic and Genomic
